Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?
Not with a proper install, routine maintenance and proper home care . Protecting your hair and scalp is my # 1 priority.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which extension method is right for me?
You don't have to know, that's my job. I will evaluate your hair, scalp, lifestyle and goals before recommending the method that is the best fit for you.
How often will I need to come in for maintenance visits?
That depends on the method we choose and how quickly your hair grows out. Beaded rows are about 6 to 8 weeks. Keratin bonds or K- tips will be between 3 to 4 months. Replica scalp is 4-6 weeks.
Will I be able to wear my hair in a ponytail?
Most definitely! The right placement along with my concealed bead method will allow you to throw your hair up at a moments notice.
My hair is fine. Can I still wear hair extensions?
Absolutely. Fine hair does not rule out extensions. The key is to choose the right method for your hair and not forcing your hair into the wrong method.
Can I work out, swim, and live my life as usual?
Of course. With that being said, you will have some extra added steps to your hair routine. I will teach you how to care for them so you can enjoy your new hair with confidence. You will go home with a care package and an aftercare card.
What if my natural hair gets frizzy?
Texture matching is a must! I use single donor Slavic hair that comes in a range of textures , this allows to me to match the natural way your hair behaves. If your natural hair reacts to the humidity so must your extensions. It is vital to install hair that is similar to your natural hair. If not, when out in the elements your extensions will stay perfectly straight and you will see two completely different textures. That is not a good look. The goal is for people to notice beautiful hair not your extensions.
What if hair extensions aren't the best option for me?
Your scalp and hair health comes first, always. If there is a better solution, I will tell you.
